Successful management consultant Michi Wyss hides his origins as a farmer's son in the city and nobody in the village knows that Michi is gay. When his father kills himself, he is forced to confront his family again. Michi is supposed to save the indebted farm for his mother Katharina, his brother Lorenz and his grandmother Trudi. Only Michi's sister Sarah is hoping to make some quick money from the sale. Michi comes under pressure and threatens to become a traitor both in his job and in the village.
